The region close to Clark, Addison, Waveland and Sheffield in Chicago was buzzing on Friday afternoon with preparations for that Wrigleyville Classic on Saturday in between Northwestern and Illinois.

The ESPN crew had been on reside briefly on Friday afternoon in their setup for tomorrow’s College Gameday, that will happen within the parking great deal with the McDonald’s in the corner of Clark & Addison Streets, beginning at 8 a.m. Northwestern University is running buses from campus in Evanston to Wrigleyville beginning at 5 a.m. for current students who want to be part with the “pit” that’s always visible on the air during College Gameday.

Let’s hope the players will (somehow) avoid injury within the house that Jack Brickhouse quite obviously built.

But if somebody does get dinged like a Leon Durham LINE DRIVE!!! … fouuuul … don’t look to the fans to keep them in good hands.
