Vietnam tightens rules for blogs

Vietnam tightened restrictions on Internet blogs that the ban on bloggers, there are questions that the Government considers it inappropriate.

Vietnam growing community of bloggers has become an important source of news for many people in the country, which remains the national media tightly controlled.

The new rules, developed by the Ministry of Information and Communication, require Internet service providers to inform the government every six months and provide information about the bloggers on request.

The rules ban agencies, national security, incitement to violence or that state secrets.
