Mozilla officially launched history with a new Guinness world record for the largest number of software downloads in the 24 – hour period.
Latest 8002530 downloads on the web browser Firefox 3,0 took place in June.
“The enthusiasm and creativity Firefox fans is crucial for that to happen,” said marketing chief Paul Kim.
Gareth Deaver Guinness World Records called it “a very impressive performance.”
