Microsoft against Apple in the reliability of Ubuntu OS update

Companies that measures the reliability of Internet services, Microsoft has the top score in test run for the modernization of services.

Microsoft’s Windows Update available, 100 percent in the second quarter of 2008, Pingdom said in the blog posting Friday. Apple service is 2 hours and 34 minutes, with 99.9 per cent availability and canonical version of Ubuntu Linux was extended for 1 day, 5 hours and 45 minutes, 98.64 percent uptime.

“Microsoft will win this hands down,” said Pingdom. He noted that Ubuntu service is also available in the mirror, however.

The company tested three services every five minutes.
