Little League World Series Results (Day 2)
All little league roads lead to South Williamsport, PA for 10 days of the little league World Series. The 63rd annual Little League World Series day 2 started today. 16 teams have made it here – 8 from the US and 8 international teams. These baseball teams dream about making it to Williamsport. The weather today in Williamsport, PA was overcast and cloudy, and the all teams were able to play without delay.
The first game went into an hour long overtime as Mexico beat Canada. ESPN listed an incorrect team for first game (it was Canada, not British Columbia). Many of the kids started wearing eye black following one kid…and they thought it looked cool. 13-year-old, Kiko Garcia from Chula Vista, California is clearly an emerging star with impressive stats.
ESPN is offering the games live online, or you can watch the replays of today’s games if you missed it.

Re: Little League World Series game, Sat. 8/29/09, US Championship: CA vs TX
What happened to your broadcast? There was a rain delay and then at about 5:30 PM EDT it was announced that the game would start in about a half hour. When it got to be 6 PM ABC suddenly went to an infomercial without any worning. The whole country had been waiting to watch that game. How could you pull a “Heidi” like that just before such an important game?
Please respond as to what happened and when we will be able to see that game.
Thanks you, but also quite disappointed,
Homer Willard
