Kristen Lee Was Harassed by Yankees Fans
Kristen Lee, the spouse of Texas Rangers ace pitcher Cliff Lee, told USA Today she was treated badly by Yankees fans when she sat inside the going to family members section of Yankee Stadium throughout the American League Championship Series.
That’s bad news for that Yankees, who’re seen since the front runner to acquire Lee’s services when free agency starts after the World Series. Might be good information for the Red Sox, if they determine to play ball in the Cliff Lee sweepstakes.
“The fans did not do good things in my heart,” Kristen Lee advised USA Today. “When people are staring at you, and saying horrible things, it’s hard not to take it personal.”
The newspaper reported that Kristen Lee said fans made “ugly taunts,” shouted obscenities, threw cups of beer and spat from the area over the visitor family seats.
