Gator Bowl 2010 – Mississippi State vs. Michigan
Mississippi State is set to encounter Michigan in the Gator Bowl, it was announced this afternoon.
The official announcement was produced at 5 p.m.
Michigan (7-5) and No. 21 Mississippi State (8-4) have never met. MSU could be the initial team from the Southeastern Conference to play within the Gator Bowl given that Tennessee in 1994. The Gator Bowl is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. CT kickoff on Jan. 1.
The Bulldogs will face the Wolverines’ dynamic quarterback, Denard Robinson, an early-season Heisman Trophy candidate.
MSU sold 17,000 tickets towards the Gator Bowl in the course of pre-orders, which concluded Dec. 1. MSU said it exhausted its ticket allotment for that bowl, but a lot more tickets may very well be created accessible Monday.
