Former Washington Senators star Harmon Killebrew died these days in Scottsdale, Ariz., in the age of 74 soon after a battle with esphogeal cancer.

Killebrew, who was drafted by and played two complete seasons for the Washington Senators just before their move to Minnesota, died at his residence in Scottsdale, Ariz.

He hit 573 home runs more than his 22-year career, ranking 11th all-time within the majors. He hit 40 or maybe more home runs in 8 seasons, tied with Babe Ruth for 2nd most.

Paul Pierce Ejected (VIDEO)

Celtics star Paul Pierce obtained his second technical foul inside the fourth quarter of Game 1 in opposition to the Miami Heat and was ejected with seven minutes left.

In the 7:59 mark, Pierce pump-faked Miami’s James Jones and drew a hard foul. Pierce reacted by approaching Jones and giving him a “face-rub,” which led to the first technical foul.

One minute later with the Heat winning 87-74, Pierce tried setting a screen on Dwyane Wade, but the Heat star tried to run through it and was called for a foul.
