Albert Pujols Injury
St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols will be out for 4-6 weeks that has a fractured left forearm. Pujols was injured on Sunday when he collided with Wilson Betemit of the Kansas City Royals, even though hoping to tag Betemit out at first base.
The team declared the outcomes of an MRI and CT scan Monday, a day right after Pujols was injured. The team said Pujols includes a non-displaced fracture of his left radius and his arm is in a splint. The team says his left shoulder was sore, but no structural injury was found.
The injury will most likely keep Albert Pujols out of the All-Star game. If that is the situation, there’s a good opportunity the Joey Votto will start off the All-Star game in the beginning base to the National League.
