Carly Gullickson, who just teamed with Travis Parrott to win the U.S. Open mixed doubles title, has a famous father.

Bill Gullickson enjoyed a 14-year career in the major leagues, beginning his career in Montreal and ending in Detroit. In between, he came through New York and spent a the final month of the 1987 season pitching for the Yankees. He started eight games and went 4-2.

For his career, we was 162-136. In 1991, he led the majors with 20 wins, going 20-9 for the Tigers.
